Prepatch I knew I didn't have the proper system requirements to play the game. (actually all my requirments trippled the recomended settigns at least except t&l hardware rendering, computer engineer it is kinda my life
)
In any case I muddled around with a whole bunch of software stuff and got it to work properly ..with the exception of a quick load (shift-f8) crash one of 20 times.
In any case, now post patch, i get a message saying my system is below the recomended settings (which technically i guess it is) everytime I open Civ4 up.
This message makes me a little
because I know it runs perfectly no slow down huge map late in the game 18 civs. 
(pre and post patch)
Anyways the question: Can this be turned off??
Basically I can live with it given some of the other problems here
But it would be really nice to turn it of
