Realistically, they didn't have a lot of choices - there is really no way they could have defended themselves against what we have now.
 
If they had just stuck the infantry in their core towns that were out of range we might not have had enough calvary to take all the needed towns in one turn.
 
One thing I have learned from this game: When playing against Chamnix, always leave at least one unit in every city. :D

Do you think they intentionally left things wide open to end the game faster?
Would be kinda sad, but can't say I blame them.

Maybe they just really thought they had more time.

That's the way the AI plays against me, and it's not all that successful either ;).

The game has not stopped - as per classical_hero, the Nuts should see the victory screen when they open the save. I'll be sending it in a few minutes, and I'll post some pictures here right after that.
