This save was ended the very turn we completed Pottery, so research will pop up, but we haven't exactly decided what research we're doing yet. Also the build in New Giruvegan finished and I'm not 100% on what the next one should be. Since I play with the option that pop-ups wait until the end of the turn to come up, I wasn't forced to make a decision at the beginning.
 
I was looking at the save and the espionage amount was still split evently between Spain and Babylon. I thought we were putting all espionage into Spain?
 
What I'm getting at, is that the popup hadn't occurred when you saved, right? So why is it popping up immediately when the save is loaded? Or did you somehow manage to save the game with an open popup? Or is this really an autosave and not a ctrl-S save?

:blush: I think we forgot... sorry. Although it seems now we might actually put all espionage onto Lincoln.

There is an option you can choose in the game menu that makes these popups occur at the END of your turn, i.e. after you've moved all units. Since I didn't move the scout or archer, the build order and tech popups had not occured yet with that option turned on. The default option is to have these popups at the beginning of each turn, which is why they're popping up for you.
