After playing quite some FFH2 and WildMana, I just tried RiFE today. I got the Chislev as random civ, which was nice as it's one that's not in the previous mods I've played, and I kinda liked their Indian flavour. First of all, a big thank you to all those modders out there who made excellent mods like this one possible! However, two interface related things really took away from my game enjoyment, and I was wondering if there's a way around them.

First of all, I really miss the BUG related features. Is there a way to add BUG to RiFE, possibly a modmodmod which I haven't spotted yet?

Secondly -and this was the worst offendor- the RiFE building interface really charmed me at first, with the way it categorized stuff...but after a while I suddenly realized that it wasn't showing all the things I could possibly build, which I find extremely annoying. For example, I had been planning to move my capital to a more central city, but as i didn't see the palace in the menu I supposed that this was something that was not possible in RiFE. It was only many turns later, when in one of my later cities the building required to build archers didn't show up, that I suddenly realized that something was wrong. Is there a way to disable this modificiation to the building screen?

Glad you like it, though I can't take credit for the Chislev. They come from FF. As do the majority of other non-FfH civs. ;)

BUG I'm not sure about. We have the notifications and the GP bar; Only other thing I'd want is the enhanced city screen.

For the build list... Yeah, known issue. You can pick the buildings in the city screen, but certain buildings (those which have some military flavor, but are primarily of another flavor) don't show correctly in the build popup. It has actually been squashed once and for all in the team version, so it will be fixed in the next version of the game. ;)

Well at least i really REALLY want the BUG city plan thingy. The last time i played with the bug mod was over half a year ago and i still press [ALT + X] everytime i think about where to place cities.

If you're like me and can't stand not having those buildings show (and can't wait for the release of the next version), you can edit your Assets\XML\Buildings\CIV4BuildingInfos.xml and remove the other flavors from those buildings that are FLAVOR_MILITARY and add flavor tags to those that are missing it (IE. the various civilization palaces).
