Two settlers - again...

Hello all, I still have to understand how it is that, everyonce in a while, the game starts with two settlers instead on just one.
I mostly play in KING mode.

Is there a tweak somewhere so I can always start with TWO settlers... or three or four...

It would give the player an advantage over the always cheating AI...

It's just a random dice roll. CIV2 is from an era of games that used such a mechanic.

I've never heard of such a tweak. But you could suggest it to the author of the UIA tweak for MGE.

This was me last night lol.. was recording for my up and coming Civ2 tour video and needed a double settler start and kept getting singles. Eventually got a double after about 7 re-rolls lol.

Ahh cheers, now it makes sense.. I remember a year or 2 go re-rolling heaps of times trying to get a double settler start on a America Earth game and never getting two as they have such a good start location.
