Two victories in same game - 2nd gets recorded in Hall of Fame too

Sorry if this has been posted before, I did a search and didn't come up with anything.

So, if you stick around to play a bit longer after winning a victory, then win another victory, both get saved to Hall of Fame. (In my case I got a culture victory then captured the last remaining capital for a domination win.) I believe in Civ4 only the first gets recorded, and that makes more sense.

I've attached a save file that should fall in between winning the culture victory and my assault on Gao, the last remaining capital, in case you need to replicate.

Hahaha. Interesting bug indeed. One ... more ... turn ... shouldn't result in one ... more ... victory

Got that bug/feature yesterday. Got a spaceship victory in the late 1980's and wanted to use some of the tech to crush those that had taunted me through the game. One more turn became, one more night. Then suddenly I got domination victory. With a better score too.

I don't know if that's possible with the other victories, but there were no un elections after the space ship had been launched. So if you want to catch them all in a single game, you may try to a diplomatic victory first.

I don't consider this a bug. It makes sense to record other victories if you keep playing. You could argue the other way, too. Here's another example of Hall of Fame behavior: In my bug testing, I've won around 6 or 7 games from save files that were uploaded by other members. None of these "victories" go into my Hall of Fame.

Awesome tip. I didn't even read the rest of this thread, I just got here by searching for how to edit the hall of fame.

I was trying for the acheivement that requires alexander to kill all the other civs before 350BC... turns out you need to make sure you take out the capital city last, so I ended up with a nearly identical duplicate entry in my hall of fame after loading my last save game to make sure I killed the other city first.
