txt_key error after new patch

Almost all of the text in my game became txt_key after the new patch is downloaded. How can I fix this?

Wat language are you playing in? I would definitely Verify Local File Integrity through the Steam client, you appear to be missing something.

Seems indeed so that the download might have been incomplete.
Any success with the verification of the files? In the best case it should just redownload some files, which should fix it.

It did redownload 2 files after verification, but the same error happened to me when I started the game

Please try it multiple times. Sometimes it doesn't redownload everything necessary (that should really be fixed, bah).

And I did the verification again and it downloaded 2 files having the same size (8.3MB) as the previous time, but the error still occurred.

uh...
I'd suggest that you delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\Assets\Gameplay\XML\NewText folder, and then do the verification again.
That should definitely redownload the correct things.
