My money would be on the idea that they were weather balloons. Weather and other experimental balloons are frequently launched at night to avoid the convection winds of dawn and dusk and the updrafts of the daytime. What your parents saw was very likely a couple of weather balloons caught in a high-altitude jet-stream-related wind turbulence.

I had another UFO sighting about 15 years ago. May, about 20:00 Local Time. On the beach at the Spanish coast near of the Gibraltar Straight. A white/silver object, cigar shape pefectly regular and symmetric rounded at both ends. Flying sydeways about 30-40 degrees over the horizon. Cant be sure of the size since i had not references but judging by atmosferic haze it was flying high and far away, so it was BIG. No sound. I (and several persons more) could see it flying eastward along several minutes until it disapeared when some building and mountains blocked the line of sight.

While it was not the impression i had since movement was too uniform and fast and it seemed totally rigid structure It could have been some sort of huge ballon or zeppelin but OTOH it was flying against the wind (a strong wind from SE known as "Levante"). However sometimes there are different windlayers with different directions. So... ???

Once I happened to look up into the night sky just as a distant green ball of fire moved across the sky. After a couple of seconds the green fire snuffed out and it became a red ember that in another couple of seconds just winked out. Obviously it was meteorite, but I was almost as blown away as if it had been a 'UFO'. I saw something from 'outer space'!

I have to say the first time I saw laser lights from a distant nightclub reflected on the cloud cover, I really freaked out. I stayed like 30 min. watching them, until I realized that they were just... lights. Both the freakiest and most disappointing moments of my life

Oh. No, that would be the B-94 UberHustler. OF course, now that I've told you about it, my superiors in the VRWC will require your elimination. Don't mind the "whoosh whoosh" sound of the black helicopters overhead, just go about your business.
