UI Problem with EUI+Balance

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the Full Community Balance Patch (as well as the game itself) multiple times, but no matter what I do, I continue getting bugs on many of the Tooltips in-game.

The tooltips aren't displayed, and instead, it shows "pathing" errors.

Can anyone help me with this?

Well it's first path directs "Community Patch Project (With EUI)" - Which I direct to my Documents/My Games/Sid Meijer's folder.

The second path directs EUI, which I direct to my steam>apps>sid meijer's>assets>dlc folder.

What am I doing wrong?

Have a look into this manual. Maybe you overlooked one important step or so. Read it carefully and you will fix the issue by yourself

There's nothing in that manual that I didn't already know.
It's telling me the same thing.
1. Install the 1st (BalanceMod) to the default directory of My Games>Sid Miejers>
2. Install the 2nd (EUI) to steam install path>Assets>DLC

I already know this, and have already tried this.
I still get in-game tooltip problems on some tooltips.

Not sure if it matters, but I have a total of 5 drives, 1 drive for OS+all related files.
One for games, etc, etc...

I have Sid Meijer's as well as steam on a totally seperate drive from my primary OS.
I wonder if there's some conflict in a file in communicating between My Games>Sid Meijer's
and Steam>SteamApps>etc

Yes. I did remove the LUA files.

You didn't say what language you are playing at.

Yes. Windows 10. (though I am having the same problem on Linux with WineHQ (Spark distro)

I think it's a typo but it's 'Sid Meier's' and not 'Sid Meijer's'

When you see this screen, do you press 'Single Player' or 'Back'?

You should press the 'Single Player' one, otherwise you're trying to play vanilla game with CBP's EUI, which will cause the 'pathing' problems.

Wow. I feel both ridiculously stupid, and happy. IT WORKS! lol.
I was clicking "back" and starting a game 'normally'. I had no idea. Never used mods in Civ before.
