Is there a way to tweak the UI to zoom out more, particularly in strategic view? One of the old versions of VP allowed it often, which was a glitch, but I miss it since.
Seeing the whole map or most of it with more detail than minimap is helpful in the second half of the game and on huge maps. I know the amount of detail can exhaust the memory but I have never had crashes while zooming IF the yield icons were disabled. I also know about "Minimum Zoom Level" in config.ini but that is for zooming in not out. An alternative would be a much bigger and slightly more detailed minimap but that would probably need serious work and would be an obstruction on smaller screens.
