Unavoidable war, from autobombing

I auto bombed a couple of enemy tanks in non enemy terratory, then next turn they move away and i get the message, "this will cause war with the viking are you sure" and no matter how many times i clicked "no" the box kept coming back up, i even held down enter on "no" for a while and so in the end i was forced to declare war,
anyone else had this?
anyone else still read this forum?

No, but you will if you bomb a tile that is not at war with you. This can happen even if units are on the tile that you are at war with. If they are red lined and you use an artillery to auto bombard. That will hit the tile improvements instead.

Just stop the bombardment, but clicking on the units, beofre they get their turn.
