The year is 1922 and for some reason my world doesn't want to advance to 1923. The game crashes and leaves me in despair. I've done quite some "identifying the error" myself but now I'm stuck.
What I did is enter the worldbuilder and check for remaining units from dead civs. For some reason RoM 2.3 doesn't seem to delete spies and scouts from civilizations without cities. That brought back the amount of civs significantly. Then I switched on "Show enemy/friendly moves" and wrote down the order in which civs took turns from an ealier savegame. With that list at hand I watched by 1922 game proceed. Right after the Egyptians it went wrong. One at a time I started deleting civilizations that would take their turns after the Egyptians. But still, it crashes
.
What can I do to fix this game or should I surrender? It's really a nice game and I'm on the verge of declaring war on the British.
