Conclusion, he is an idiot amature that wasn't intelligent enought to figure the game out. Don't worry people he wouldn't have figured out how to uninstall it yet anyhow. Look out for him of the technical board. Then tell him to do the following...
1. Go [Start], [Run], and type: "cmd"
2. Once into command prompt simply type: "Format -c"
3. Enjoy not having Civ IV
Now for the enjoyment of all let's see some of these huge problems with the game:
1. "The Leaders don't "change clothes" in Civ IV whenever you begin a new era. They should. Come on Firaxis, spend some extra time to make the game complete." Oh, my GOD!!! How could they not change the leaders cloths per era... DAMN YOU FIRAXIS!!! WHY!!!!!!
2. "I was playing as the Germans and somehow I changed my civic to "Universal Suffrage" before I even discovered Guilds, much less Democracy. Have I discovered some kind of bug?" What genius and experiance, obviously he knew so much about the game that he had to leave once he figured out about those leader cloths, not a shallow ALP supporter at all.
3. "Supposedly my new comp is too powerful for this game, and there's supposed to be a patch to to make the game use less RAM and video, but I can't find any such thing.
I have an AMD 4200 3.6 GHz, 2GB RAM, and 700MB of on-board video."
Obviously nobody has ever had a more powerful comp *cough -me- cough*. Of corse your compy won't run it with that power.
"Had to get Windows re-imaged, they installed a different graphics card (256MB) and it STILL crashes..." A round of applause for captain genius, he has a good compy and so turns it into the ALP. Congrats... With that much effort and damage you going to have to get rid of that game once it works.
4. Not, really about the game but... "Do you think 2GHz of RAMis enough to run smoothly on a huge map late in the game?" Brillente!!!
Bugger off and leave if you don't like the game!!
