Unique units that represent military failures of a Civ

The I-15 is pretty close, except that the I-153 had retractable landing gear, which did boost its speed a bit. I am not sure if I have had photos of the Russian flying aircraft carrier. I do have some photos of the aircraft-carrying U.S. Navy Zeppelins. The biplane that they carried was the F9C Sparrowhawk. The photo is public domain. For more information go to https://www.history.navy.mil/conten...rcraft-us/aircraft-usn-f/f9c-sparrowhawk.html

Some of the more sinister failures of units/weapons are attempts using animals to cost-effectively deliver bombs or incendiaries. Pigeon and bat bombs, anti tank dog bombs, incendiary pigs and the mythical "rocket cat" come to mind as cruel and unreliable ideas.

But it worked well in Escape from Zombie Island!!!

For someone to work with. Soviet Anti-tank dog mine. Note, these may have worked. The unit is in the public domain as it is from an official U.S. government intelligence handbook.

Not to mention WW2 Soviet troops using unarmed Mongolians and "Punishment Battalions" to clear minefields - kind of like present-day Russians "mobis."
