I was thinking about the possiblilty of having an Apocalypse event that actually ends the world, and maybe it being a unique victory condiction for the Sheiam when I thought, why not have unique victories for all the civilizations. It would definitely add a lot of flavor to each civilization.
Here are some possible ones I thought of, and I'm sure you all can think of more:
Sheiam- Destroy Creation (Bring to AC up to 100.)
Balseraphs- Control Erebus through your supreme entertainment that allows you to convince the entire population to join you. (Have all or possibly a certain number of cities reach a very high happiness level and control a huge number of happiness resources.)
Infernals- Agares's Veil (Eliminate or convert all good and neutal civilizations and spread the Ashen Veil to every city.)
Mercurians- Restart the Godswar (Eliminate Infernals and find the Godslayer, which is in a random evil or neutral civilization's city. To search for it, you must either raze the city, build a special project in it, or build an extremely expensive project that will pinpoint its location. Once this is done, you must build a project to destroy it and several other projects to plead for the angels to reenter Creation.) [I like the idea of this victory condition, but I'm not sure which civilization should have it.]
Grigori- Spread Reason (Eliminate Basium and Hyborem and build a new Altar-of-the-Lunnatar-type Universal Codex wonder with Great Scientists.)
Bannor- Great Crusade (Eliminate or convert all Evil and Neutal civilizations and spread the Order to every city.)
Lanun- Corrupt/Awaken Danalin (If following OO, complete a quest to fully corrupt the sleeping god and make the power of the Overlords unstoppable by any mortals. If not following OO, complete a quest to awaken the god, who grants you complete control over the sea and coast as a reward.) [I assume this can be justified lore-wise because he would have a large amount of built-up Compact "points" after sleeping for so long.]
Amurites- Magical Mastery (Make the Tower of Mastery an Amurite vicotry condition instead of one available to everyone.)
So, what do you think about the idea in general, or about the specific conditions? I also hope someone more creative than me can think of some more victories for the less obvious civilizations.
