Unit abilities

someone else has probably already asked this question, but i will ask it just in case. Does anyone know if when a unit gets a bonus ability, is it just for the unit that won the battle or for all units of the same type?

I dont know, probably just the one unit but it might be for all of them.

It would be too powerful and unbalancing if it was for all units of that type. Consider it similar to Civ3 promotions where units go to veteran / elite status - its just a natural expansion of that.

Maybe it would be for all units of the same kind that were traveling together when the unit got the bonus ability.

I suspect Ainwood is correct. Anything else would escalate the power balance too fast, IMHO.

Yes, it would. It's defenitely just individual units.
