Unit graphics

Okay, I use Civ2:ToT(Which appears to be a fairly rare title from the sites I've vistied) and I've worked out most of what I have to do to mod it what I want (A Battletechish mecha scene), but I have a significant problem with the units. I can modify the rules, the City pictures, the terrain, etc, etc, except for the actual units, which run around and fight etc etc. Anybody know how?
 
Turn off unit animations, and make a note of that in your readme. Then just have the units move like the original Civ2.
 
I tried that, but it still only modified the Production Screen graphics. Or did I miss something?
 
Sometimes, I believe, you have to move all the unit animations of ToT off to another folder to avoid having them screw up the non-animated units.
Just cut and paste them to another folder, so you won't lose them, but they won't be there to mess it up.
