Hey all,
I'm playing Civ 5 off a macbook pro and purchased via Steam.
My specs:
Processor: 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512MB
OS: Lion 10.7.1
I hadn't had any problems until relatively recently. To avoid slowdowns I generally play in the strategic view - which places less strain on my computer than the regular view. I decided to start up a game and noticed immediately that, while on strategic view, my unit icons were solid black (though they became lighter and I could see the unit icon faintly after movement) and that civilization borders were also solid black.
All other CS and Civilization borders/units are identically changed. I've tried completely uninstalling and redownloading (though I'd like to not do that again - bandwidth caps in Canada are brutal). I've tried playing around with various video setting combinations, but to no avail.
Any ideas/solutions?
