Unit Options?

I posted this in "Quick Answers", but its getting baried fast:

I have a question. I use to play Civ3 alot, and I remember having more unit option buttons at the bottom, like "Irrigate", "Mine", etc.. I still have the default ones there. The ones that are gone are the ones like "Stack Units", "Stack Like Units" etc.. I dont remember how I got these before, If it was a patch or an option to select. I haven't done anything to the program since I last played, so I am bumfounded. Any Ideas?

Go to Preferences, and select Show Advanced Buttons. (I think that's what the option is called - I don't have Civ3 on this PC. )

I tried that, it only adds/deletes some of the default buttons. These buttons were really cool. Like the ability to move in a stack units, all or just one type. Buttons like that. I cant remember where I got them! Or even if I got them anywhere for that matter! ...grrrr...

Look above the box in the lower right hand corner of the screen... I think some of the buttons you're looking for may have been moved. There are some buttons that were put above that white rectangular box in the lower right corner of the screen... (I have no idea what it's called...but the one with a little picture of the active unit...)

Thanks. This place is pretty cool. I am a regular at another forum, like I said, and love the community of friends I have made over the last couple years.
Tell me, is the GD forum here pretty much open discussion, or is it just Civ topics? I have'nt had time to lurk there yet.

(But remember, Forum rules apply there as well - not *everything* can be discussed. )
