Previews in animated gif form are rarely the same speed as in the game. I think civ3 applies its own frame rates. I am surprised you have not noticed this before senoj.

GIDustin : human model are MUCH more difficult to do ! There's no plane surfece on a human. Everything is rounded and the movements has to be much more fluid ! Tht's why I'm sticking on vehicules ! Because I'm so a smuck in REAL graphics !

Dont worry theres plenty of mechanized models you can do- Fron tanks to ships and planes- without wading in to the murky realm of human figures.
I like the model, very nice! I was going to do a russian heavy self propeled Artillery ages ago but it kind of fell of the bottom of my list! And yes I agree more people should give 3d modeling a go- its not the same as drawing, many people who can't draw can model quite well.
