Unit Reclass 1.1

ITcore submitted a new resource:

Unit Reclass - Slight change to end game unit classes.

Small mod that changes the end game units.

Instructions
1. Unzip the file to C://Users/Username/Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods.
2. Startup the game, click on 'Additional Content' at the main menu, and ensure that 'Unit Reclass' is enabled.
3. Play.

Melee Units

• Infantry no longer upgrades. +8 Combat Strength.
• English Redcoat now upgrades into Infantry.
• French Guarde Imperiale now upgrades into Infantry.

It may require mod tools. The Carrier has a unique class and I can't find anything that really defines its ability. It has an "AirSlots=2" but I don't think it would translate as easy as adding "LandSlots=2". I hope the mod tools come soon, I would love to add this functionality though.

ITcore updated Unit Reclass with a new update entry:

Version 1.1 - Australian DLC support

-Digger unit receives same buff as Infantry to keep it in line with rest of mod. Digger also no longer upgrades.

Does this mod conflict with WaterZer0's Unit Rebalance Mod? It looks like both of you make tweaks to the cavalry, and I want to make sure that these tweaks do not conflict with one another.

The only changes he made to units in my mod are movement points. They should work together just fine.

OK. But one more question. Your description has this in it: "Added Light Chariot class for a small buff along with -5 Combat Strength and 4 Movement to bring it closer to Helicopter."
That's really what's throwing me off. What exactly will fall into this Light Chariot class?

Abilities are attached to Classes which are then applied to Units. The Light Chariot is a class ability that grants faster movement through clear (flat) terrain. Since I made the Mechanized Infantry a bit weaker, and to fill it's cavalry role better, I added the Light Chariot class to it for potentially quicker movement. Light Chariot is the Egyptian Chariot Archer's class.
