Unit Request- Cataphract

I need this unit for the MEM, i was used by the persians and Byzantines, so it could be a flavor unit for the greeks, romans and persians. There is a AoE conversion of this unit, but it is very ugly. It could replace Knight or Horseman. I hope someone will make it.

That's a great idea!! And give him a bow for his bombard attack (defensive bombard)... They did wield bows, right? At least that's what I read on Britannica...

Yodas second Picture looks most like a Cataphract IMO.

Every Cataphract used not only his lance also a broadsword and a Bow. Some had a axe as well.

When one like I can upload a picture of a historical relief that shows a cataphract

There is already made a chatapract.. Its in the unit library.. Its quite a good unit..

that unit is from AoK and is very jumpy in the Default.

Many people would like to avoid using copyrighted units if at all possible, so you will see several unit requests for units that, while already available, are from other games. Conversions from other games are great as a stop gap until we can get original units created.
