Well, yes it's my first. I couldn't wait to have this unit so I have given it my last days of holidays.
I can't tell you how "happy" is my girlfriend !
It was hard, but each time I was gonna shoot yourself, a solution to the current problem always appeared at the good time.
Try Rhinoceros. It has a good tutorial tool that helps you understand the main commands you can work from. Fortunately, tanks has pletty of straight surfaces and just few curves. Heasier to make than a human being, I can tell !
I'm now wondering how to make this animation. I have no idea how to export the unit in the proper format.
Have I to export in PCX, work on it, then into a FLC, or directly to a FLC ?
How do I get the proper color palette, when I know the first rows of it are for specific civ colors ? How do I force the computer to put static colors to the rows below ??
And finally, how to be shure to take snapshots (from Rhino to go to Photoshop) each time with the exact same angles, since I will have to edit the model to make the animation ?
Could someone help ?
