needing opinions before animation. Hopefully from Kal-El. Mainly. Helmet, or no helmet?

That looks so great! I say keep the helmet, but I would like it anyway.

If you first upload the pictures you can use the IMG tag from the vB Code to show all the pictures you want.

As Black Rose said: upload it to the server, then you write [#IMG]http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads4/Nice_looking_knight_with_a_helmet.jpg[/IMG#] but without the #:s. I want you to keep the helmet, otherwise it will look like your Inquisitor with the hood down (or up? ). This could be one of your best!

Thanks for the info mrtn (and you too Black Rose). The add attachment button is just so much easier.

By the way, by request of Kal-El, and Yoda, (whom I'm doing this unit for) there will be no helmet. I'll post a preview soon.

By the way mrtn, I just wanted to say, I love all your city grafix and such. nice work

Would it be very hard to make one version with helmet? If you can use the same animations and stuff? I'd love it as a knight UU for my Magnamund Mod (and I'm not alone who'd want it).

I am! There was just this... freak accident... at the hospital when I was born. I haven't studied French for 12 years, and I never studied very hard when I did, so the only complete sentence I can say is "Chemapell mrtn".
BTW the royal family are more german than french nowadays.

If me and LouLong are the "guys" we're discussing french spelling (the lack of) and the Swedish royalty (we imported a french general as a king).

a couple of previews of the attack. I thought I'd try something different and have him attack as if his enemies were off to his side as opposed to in front of him. Hope it turned out ok.

I'm glad you think so. It was just that I hated the fact that most mounted units with swords would swing their sword at the enemy and the sword wouldn't even go past the horses head. How the heck did it hit the enemy?? So, i thought i'd try a different approach. If it doesn't look good, i won't do it again.

But it seems like the tip of the sword is very low? To exaggerate: it's like he's swinging a golf club. I think he should swing it more like a tennis racket. You notice it more in the SW (helmeted) angle.
Maybe you can try this.
