I'm gathering era-specific animations for the infantry, marines, paratrooper, and tank. Does anyone have a good, generic cold war-era tank? (for use in all civs)

I think you may be stuck using 2 genaric tanks scince the whole NATO, Warsaw Pact thing. I wont be finishing my genaric Nato and Warsaw tanks for a few weeks. Sorry.

i would really appreciate if we could get some units from the terminator universe.t-800s, t-1000s, future human troopers, machine air units...exc... I am not sure really what other units the humans have but be creative.

Mithadan, I found it downloaded about 15 or so units from the unit library.
For some reason I can't download any files at the moment...

You could make a flavor unit for every civ for evey unit (exept for UU). But that might be over doing it...

Glad to hear you've got the Unit Library figgered out. I believe there has been talk about making a complete set of flavour units for every civ, but I don't know that the idea's taken off like a shot. It's a heck of a lot of work. But there are plenty of quality units, as you well know, to get one started, at least.
Edit: apparently, I'm mistaken about the Flavour Units project. There appears to be quite some effort being directed towards it, which might interest you. Enjoy.
Dunno what the problem is with the server, but it has happened to me once or twice before, where downloads didn't work for a while.

Can somebody make this units, MIG29 -25, Su 34- SEALS, and deltaforce, SAS,and some Russia attack helicopters besides the Hind. PLEASe or can somebody tell me what programs u need to make them and I can try.

Have you checked our Unit Library? There might be some units in there to your liking. The Unit Librarian, however, is a transient one at present, so there is also much to be gained from perusing the first five or six pages of the Unit Graphics Forum. Because it's morning, and I've got nothing better to do than sit around in my gonch surfing the net, I looked around to see what I could find for you. Don't get used to it.
First, the standard Jet Fighter that ships with Civ3 is a MiG-29 Fulcrum.
Second, here is a MiG-25 for you, and if you don't like it, a MiG-31 as well.
Third, not much in the way of Su-35s, but there is a really nice Su-27 Flanker (but I imagine that's not quite what you want) and two Su-37s: the "Terminator" (with fore-planes/canards) and the "Berkut" (with forward swept wings). Dunno if these will serve for your bulbous two-seater-looking Su-34.
Fourth, as regards your SEALS, Delta Force and SAS guys, nothing that specific, but I found a host of other units that might pass for what you want them for: Parachutist and Peacekeeper, Spetsnaz, Separatists, India's Black Cats, Modern Infantry, Covert Ops, Special Ops Team, Modern Soldier, or even the Grunt. Hopefully one of these guys will serve until you manage to make one for yourself that you like better.
Fifth, I couldn't find any non-Hind Soviet/Russian attack helicopters. You're on your own there.
I have no idea what programs you need to make .flc files, though. I guess you'll need a 3D Animation program of some kind, and Flicster to convert whatever you've made into a .flc file. But I'm just guessing. I can't even create 2D Civ II units!

I just found out that the "Parachutist & Peacekeeper" units have been further altered, with green or tan or black berets, etc., to reflect various special forces of the world. I think they're on the third page of the original thread for those units. Check it out.

Perhaps someone of you wants to sign up to the task of making a cool new Marine unit with a big Machine Gun?
The picture shows two marines from 40 Commando on patrol on a beach in SWA (the marine nearest the camera is carrying a 7.62mm General Purpose Machine Gun).
Some info about the Royal Marines "as well as exercising in desert conditions, units of 3 Commando Brigade also regularly deploy company groups for jungle training in Brunei and Belize and to Northern Norway for arctic and extreme cold weather training. It is this unique latter expertise that has made the Royal Marines the UKs force of choice for possible future operations in any theahter of war." Jane's Defence Weekly
