Thanks again for the good tut. Now I can use many good units in the mod.
Here is two problematic units that I still can't use.
1 Cannon. I combined a chinese archer's body into the cannon unit, as a cannonier. It can be displayed, but seems the cannonier has no neck.
2 Exploere. His face is always black. I changed the texture property, but still cant work.

cannon: it is an unfriendly unit, this neckless and fat man effect is normal trying to exchange the gunner. You may look at my cannons (civil war cannons, the one with civil war cannoniers) in the download section how i tried to solve the problem (used bone transplant with adjusting the position and scale of the transplanted nodes, you may change the names of the bones of your gunner model to Bip01 and afterwards copy it in the cannon.nif [you know if you copy a mesh using nifscope the program rigs your model to the same named node like in the original nif, after making it a child of MD NonAccum you can see in nifscope how it looks, eg. if you change the head node to calf and you copy the model in the same nif again the head will be where the calf is , it´s a slightly better way to copy a model from one nif to another]. The cannon you can simply exchange (it the same armature like the original) and with perhaps minor adjusting to the Bip01 nodes the model should look ok (i think perfect will be hard)
explorer: was a strange error, the head had vertex colours activated and colours set and this colours instead of the texture were displayed, deactivating vertex colour solved the black head, but again was a strange error (never saw something like this before) and finding the solution was only luck (cleared and fixed explorer.nif attached)
