I quite never make unit request. But I would really like to have these :)

Hunter with "atl-atl" ( "propulseur" in french ).

This was the most important inventions for hunting before the archer. I'd like to have it as a prehistorical hunter, without cultural flavour. Something like this :

CALYPSO : Commander Cousteau's boat

Could be usefull as an exploration unit, but I have another idea, very precise ;)

EVA00 or EVA01 or EVA02 : from Neon Genesis Evagelion

For people who don't know Neon Genesis, these are giant bio-robots. Would be perfect as a futuristic unit. I prefer the 01.

the GREAT CONDOR and SOLARIS from "Les mystérieuses Cités d'Or"

In the story, these were built by the Empire of Mu.

If you're interested, I can give much more stuff for death, attack,...

There is a unit with the 'propulsor' in the unit library, it's a south-american one though, IRRC :)
And isn't that new unique unit from conquests one like that too?

If it allready exists, I didn't see it.

I shoud precise I would like a PREHISTORICAL hunter, with no flavour.

The 'propulsor' of which you speak is an atl-atl, which is not technically English, but that's what it's called. And yes, the Mayan "Javelin Thrower" UU is an "atlatlman" of sorts, a pretty generic meso-american unit, not Mayan specific, if you ask me. It's not obvious that he's using an atl-atl unless you look very carefully because he throws his spears so frickin' fast. And for some reason, he sounds like he's barking.

I just had a look at the Javelin Thrower. You're right, he is using an atl-atl ( "propulseur" in french :p ). I never noticed it. BTW, it's not what I'm searching. He really looks meso-american and is cleraly not prehistorical :(

Actually, "atl-atl" was also used in Europe. I tried it with an association worrying about prehistory in Wallonia. It's a pretty good weapon ;)

I added a poicture in post#1.

"Hup hup" on the prehistoric spear thrower feller! (Isn't "atl-atl" an Aztec word?)

The "atl atl" or "atlatl" was used by prehistoric hunters in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The term "atl atl" is believed to be a combination of Nahuatl terms meaning "water" and "thrower" and referred to the fact that the atl atl was used to hunt fish and waterfowl by the Aztecs. The use of the atl atl by the Aztecs was brought into prominence because the Conquistadors were absolutely terrified of the weapon. The additional leverage created by the throwing stick was such that the dart, even with a stone point, could penetrate the Spanish soldiers' metal breastplates.

I second MaisseArsouye's request for a generic atl atl. In fact, I believe that is what I requested in Kinboat's recent unit lottery thread. And the use of the term "spear thrower" or "javelin thrower" for the Mayan unit or for an atl atl unit in general is technically incorrect because the projectile hurled by the atl atl is referred to as a "dart" rather than a "spear".

The golden condor from the Mysterious Cities of Gold! Oh, how that takes me back! Aaahhhh - ahhh ahhh ahh ahh, searching for the ciiities of goo-oold...

I got the complete DVD collection :D

Any designer interested by one of these ?

I for one, second and encourage the production of more Evangelion-related units. All 4 Evas (yes, Unit-03 too), the Angels themselves, and the MP Evas from the Movie. The UN VTOL by Wyrmshadow is not enough.

There a 13 Angels.

For Evangelion, I have the complete stuff in in the official artbook.

It is Great ! You should definitely watch it.

Of course the fact he had to redo the end and the fact the story is packed with hardly digested Christian symbols show its limits but it is well-thought, gripping, funny, complete (I mean most things are explained or have sense), awful, sad, sexy = one of the best OAV around.

I don't think Evangalion was an OAV... I was pretty sure it was TV series. It's TV season length at the very least, which would make for an unusually long video series.

As for my opinion on the, er, quality of said Evangalion, I'll withold for fear of getting my head bitten off by the legions of raging fans :mischief:
