Regarding terrain. Original would be fine then. FOr those with a preference it would show up in whatever form of terrain they have in the epic game then. Like mine is a combination of Rhye's, Womak's, and Sn00py's. Plus various odds and ends by others.

I have a sourcebook. I'll have to dig it out again, then I'll see what I can find. Unless someone else beats me to it.

EDIT: Got turned down on the unit by Muffins. He doesn't want to do hmans and horses at the moment. Substitutes might have to do, until a unit maker gets on board.

Redundancy never hurts, Tathlum and Tjedge1, so any information you have would be great. If you could both find your sourcebooks, I'd be glad to have some info. My own is a AD&D "25th Anniversary Edition" that ONLY covers the War of the Lance. While this suits my purposes perfectly, I would like to have information on the lands that the Chronicles left out. Lands, nations, and general info I'm missing so far are:

Khur
Lemish/Garnet, and the rest of Solamnia
Nordmaar (though I don't know if there even IS info on this area...)
Ergoth (the nation of dark skinned seafarers, not the terrain)
Minotaur Islands

Right now I'm taking a much needed vacation with my family in Denver, Colorado, including camping and hiking in the Rockies, white-water rafting, and fancy hotels; all this means I'm without contact with the Forum for days at a time, but I haven't forgot our project! :goodjob: We're coming back on Friday night, so I'll finish the map and upload it for inspection. I want to change the base map size (so it looks less squat in the mini map, and so there's less useful water), so I'll copy the map over to another .biq file, then add the rules. When I finish the map, I'll throw in a few Civs to place cities and units before finishing the rules.

I'm going to tweak the units and Civs before I get to the improvements, Wonders, and advances, which I'd LOVE help with. Also, I'd like to (eventually! :p ) have a completely revamped Civolopedia. I have some experience in the coding- I've been messing around with it since the [civ3] days- so that wont be a problem, but if anyone would like to start writing out little Civolopedia entries for units such as Ogre, Goblin, Solamnic Kinghts (Crowd, Sword and Rose are seperate, but one entry could work for all), etc., that would be great, too!

Right now I'm in the middle of tweaking and playtesting ADM's for the units, also looking through my library of downloaded units to see which I can use, even though I have NO idea how to make an accurate Units 32 sheet :( .

Thanks for any help, guys! Keep the ideas coming!

I'll be on vacation myself, but I'll take my book with me and read up on it to see what I can find this weekend. I'll try to post some info up by Tuesday sometime.

I've just about finished the map, and I'm real proud of it! I'll post it up as soon as I finish tweaking it. Some things to remember:

* The rules have only been changed enough to show what I intend for the later map; meaning that only the Civilizations' colors, names, and culture groups (city appearance), and a few terrain feautures have been altered.

* The barbarian warriors that appear on the map represent hostile Plainsmen (check their "Properties," I've named them correctly, I hope...), the Furs resource represent friendly, trading Plainsmen, and the barbarian camps represent Ogre or Goblin camps.

* All ruins on the map are actual ruins, and the only city improvements added are walls or palaces. Some cities were made size 7 to show there huge size from the books.

* I do not intend for the cities to experience much growth, yet some will have HUGE production and lots of trade, therefore terrain attributes such as food, production and trade will be altered.

* Also, I hope to keep settlers and workers out entirely, thus no units can pillage (let's hope no cities get destroyed in conquest!).

Some things I am in the dark about:

* I'd like more detail in the NW portion of the main continent (particularly Solamnia), eastern Balifor, and Normaar.

* Southern Ergoth, home to the Wilder (Kagonesti) Elves, ogres, Knights, the seafarers of the ancient empire of Ergoth, and the refugees of the Qualinesti and Silvanesti nations. On top of that, somewhere in the mountains is Dragon Mountain, where the Heroes of the Lance rediscover the Dragonlance. So where do I place all this? Who owns Daltigoth, Caergoth and Eastwatch? Is Gwynned in Northern Ergoth the capitol of Ergoth?

Again, any help you guys can give is much appreciated! :king:
