Unitlimit for Civilization Classic

I am new here and have a simple question: Is there a fix of the Unitlimit-problem? Is there any program or patch to disable this annoying problem?

Yes, a guy called Elys made just such a program a while back. Its called Civ2Unlimited and is available in post #40 of this thread.
