Interesting guide. No intention of putting in a ranged table at some stage?

From my point of view strength differences do not tell the whole story because the combat formula is not linear. It often surprises me how much damage a unit at -18 does for example.

I suppose I should add the values for ranged and siege units as well. I'll add them in the next update. Hopefully the table won't get too big

Does it comes with spreadsheet files to easily calculate costs VS combat stats so to create new units that's not available in a given era of certain classes?

I'm happy to provide the spreadsheet once I have a more polished version, especially if it will be helpful to others. I'll upload it next update (soon).

When I first created this reference, I picked the option that it would not include a downloadable file. I can't seem to figure out how to include the excel file now. Do I need to start a new post?

I've uploaded the spreadhseet (in the Discussions OP) for anyone who's interested in using the formulas or template. It could be vastly improved if one was inclined to do so:

1. By adding options for unique units. For example a drop down box to select the leader/civilization that will automatically swap or add into the table the unique units relative to that civ.
2. A second addition could be to add a similar option for the top row (defending units) so one could have select...
