CV90? Never heard of that before. Is it a Swedish manufactured tank?

In your completely unbiased opinion, is it up to international standards of today?

How does Sweden get funding for such weapons projects? Is it because she exports much of it to other countries, or does she like some other neutral countries have a huge defence spending?

The project was started in 1984, when we did have a large defence budget. Many of our projects (JAS-39 Gripen, RBS-23 Bamse SAM, Visby Corvette) were started back in the cold war days. The projects weren't cancelled because the defence forces saw the need for these systems to replace the older ones. The export opportunities were also thought of. :)

On top of all these Swedish weapons, we need some ancient stuff.

Here is something I cooked together yesterday.

Here are some Sarmatians

Sarmatians, ancient nomadic and pastoral people, speaking an Indo-Iranian language, who in the 5th century BC, according to accounts by the contemporary Greek historian Herodotus, lived between the Caspian Sea, the Don River, and the Sea of Azov (an area that is now part of Russia). By the 3rd century BC, they had subdued the Scythians of the great plains north of the Black Sea and their territory extended from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea and from the Vistula River to the Volga River. They remained dominant in this area until they were overpowered by the Goths from the west in the 3rd century AD and by the Huns from Asia in the 4th century. Among the Sarmatian tribes were the Alans, Roxolani, and Iazyges.

Any ancient requests? :goodjob:
Edit: Didn’t want to make another post. PM me any unit requests.

Admittedly, I didn't like your first unit, a few of posts above. I do, however like some of your ancient units, and I might just be able to use them... can I? :goodjob:

Never! You’re the only person in the whole wide world who is not allowed to use my units… ever..

:p
Nanny nanny boo boo

Of course you can, my friend.
Use them in any way you see fit :goodjob: I would be honoured.

What units shall I do next?

Thracians, Illyrians & Dacians?
More steppe tribes: Scythians, Huns?
Germanics, Celts?
Republican Romans, Italics & Etruscans?
Numidians, Carthagians, Berbers, Iberians?
Hellenistic Greeks, Macedonians, Successor Greeks?
Giant Radioactive Monkies?

:)

I’ll look into it, mate.

The Macedonians will be under the Hellenistic Greeks, and I am working on them now.

Persians, both Achaemenid and and Sassanid (Maybe even Cyropaedic from 550 BC) are underway. I already have one little Persian Horse-javelinman (Longchophoi) done.

BTW: Early Celts, Early Germanics, Scythians, Thracians, Illyrians, Dacians and Pre-Hoplite Roman (700BC) are done.

Need anything else?

Edit: Numidans have also been done. I cannot do any work in the weekend… I have to go to a BBQ :yeah:

:)

434 BC Greeks would be useful too...

After you've done all those units you've planned, you should compile them and submit them to Thunderfall for the graphics section of this site... :)

Here are some ancient Mesopotamians (With early Persians:

Persians you say?

Edit: Major overhaul needed on Early Celts and Early Germanics. I didn't like the way they looked... :crazyeye:
