Updated cost and strength of some air units analysis

So I looked into the changes with the Austrailia Summer patch and it seems they have nerfed bombers(esp. Jet Bomber) while adding a tiny buff to fighter units. This change honestly kinda bugs me, because I think all air units needed a buff of some sort. Unless I am reading the tables wrong, these are the updated values:

-Bomber production cost increased from 540 to 560.
-Fighter production cost decreased from 540 to 520(Incl. P-51).
-Jet Bomber combat strength lowered to 70 from 78 and production cost increased from 680 to 700.
-Jet Fighter production cost decreased to 650 from 680.

How do you guys feel about these changes? Do you think air units are relevant? I still feel like cavalry and heavy cavalry units dominate literally the entire game, and I wish they would fix it.


I have a mod that addresses many of the balance issues in the game, and my intended changes to make Aerodomes and air units more relevant is to have the first Aerodome add +1 trade route(just like harbor and commercial district now) and removing the cost progression for production, making it a flat 500 cost(which is usually less than it would be otherwise). Would that make the Aerodome(and air units) worth building?

EDIT: I'm also planning on raising Aerodome and Aircraft Carrier Air Slots to 5 and 4 respectively.
