Compared with the rest of the world's countries, I'd say the US is in at least the best third for government corruption. Bribery is rare, our constitution limits abuse of power, the media is free, and even pork legislation is a surprisingly small portion of the total budget.

Sure, maybe Mr. Bush was flying a plane, when he spotted a moth in the cock pit, being stupid, he opened the door to let it out, and whoosh (unfortuantly he had his parachute) and maybe he was flying around New York.

I never really understand why people think that everything in the world is the government's fault. You people seem to think the government is God, that they can just will something to happen, and *poof* there it goes. When will you grow up and realize that the government really only has power over the laws in this country and not a whole lot else, not the economy, not the weather, and certainly not to plan and cover up the murder of more than three thousand of it's own citizens. And most of all, if they had the power to carry out such an undertaking as that which you are acusing them of, why couldn't they get rid of this internet video, and the people who made it, before it ever hit the web?
