Using custom resource graphics....

Ok, I'm trying to play using the vanilla resource graphics, and once again I find I can't see coal or oil worth a damn.

Hey, I'm an old man. Have some pity.

Now, before conquests, I'd have just gone and downloaded one of those nice mods that puts little shields or icons or something on the resources. However, all of those predate Conquests, and some new resources have been added. Is it safe to use those mods, or do I have to wait until some kind soul makes a new version for Conquests?

Wait, or make it yourself. You won't see some of the resources at all if you try using one of those.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Ah well. I shall be patient. Or I shall figure out how to do it myself.

I share your pain, Raven. I recently posted a request for this mod in the C&C forum. There was a great mod for Civ3/PTW that put a little beige disc on the resource icon, which made the resource stand out. Hopefully the author of that will update his work soon.
