I've created modified .biq so that I can stack the deck a bit. I saved it, it shows up in 'scenarios' when I use the 'open' button, I can select it, and click on 'open', and the title bar at the top displays the correct name. HOWEVER... nothing in the window. Just a blank map (ocean and ice cap). How do I get this thing to appear so that I can work on it some more?:crazyeye::eek:

Also, where in the heck do the saves go to? I'm running Win7 now. I used to be able to find the saves file, and pop a shortcut to it on the d/top. Now I can't find the ******* thing.

Open up My Computer and go to the Civ3 Conquests Saves folder. At the top are a series of options - Organize, Include in Library, etc. Click on "Compatibility Files." It should give you the missing saves. It seems to save in a different place for some reason:
C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Saves
This despite there not being an "AppData" folder to access from the User Menu in question ....

Seems rather confusing. Still doesn't tell me how to get the .biq file that I want up to modify it. I tried the path you gave me: zip results. Tried search in each part of the path: zilch. Looked for AppData: nada. Where do we go from here?

That was only for the saves. I don't know much about .biqs or the Editor. Two screenshots for my Saves folders, though. The short list is from when I had Vista on this computer, the longer one is all the saves from after I upgraded.

Also, just decided to check on things in the Editor. Generated a Random Map, saved it, opened it in the Game (looked fine), opened it up in the Editor, it was there.

EDIT: Oh, and saves from both lists are accessible in the game.
