I felt it was necessary after so many new bugs.
I hope this one will last for a while. I'm going to slow down the rate of updates soon.

Log:

- Units in Antarctica bug fixed
- Old owner garrisons should be sent out correctly when cities are traded via Congress or Indipendence
- Russian units in Mongolian spawn bug fixed
- Corn in Bordeaux moved
- Fixed threshold for resurrection not being reached ever
- Debug mode in resurrectionFromBarbs() disabled
- Dead civs can’t resurrect until 50 turns from their birth
- Capital/Persian collapse no longer triggered when cities are traded
- Bribe threshold slightly less dependent on human player’s gold
- Fixed an error in Congresses
- Raised numCitiesMaintenance modifiers
- Updated English city names map and some renamings
- Betrayal threshold when resisting civing a city to a new civ raised from 60 to 70
- Reduced barbarian pressure, which with no reason is stronger than in older versions
- Slightly lowered value AI assigns to cities again

This should be interesting. Thanks Rhye!

:mischief: Too late i returned to Warlords ...

I test the no trade techs thing :mischief:

Great to have this update, seemed like it was really needed.

Hey Rhye, didn't you say something about releasing version .10? I would like to have a look at that so I could see what the simpler dynamic rise and fall code looked like.

Grr... where do I post things? There is no meta thread, so I'm totally lost.

Just gonna blurb a bit and then post a "bug".

I like the change with not displaying years, totally killed the normal date exploit with spawns.

As a result, I got beat up bad as Egypt because I overextended after smacking down the Persians and ended up fighting the Arabs and the Barbs from both sides at the same time. Camels vs Spears, did not go well.

Switched to England (and watched Egypt die about 20 turns later) and have been fighting some fun long range wars. Ganked the Indians with the Arabs for a few cities.

Had America insta-collapse when I took D.C., which totally killed my plans with regards to them (train up my troops). Was plotting an invasion of the Japanese until the W.C. thing kind of threw me off.

I like the changes made since I last played forever ago, but some of the powers have me scratching my head because they seem a tad overpowered. Guess I can't talk since I don't have a feel for it yet, but that is my eyeball assessment of them.

Thanks for waiting on the Warlords version, Rhye! Some of us broke people are waiting for the price to go down, and we appreciate your decision!

Er, just where do I find this update file?

EDIT:
Oh, I see :) but under it reads 1.00 as latest...

I also see 1.00 updated on July 26 as the latest update. Where is 1.01?
