Wow... those are all awesome quotes! Good finds everyone. I might want to vote on the MLKJ one but its superiority is only by a hairswidth despite it being truly insightful. I'm thinking we should keep looking for other places for those that don't make the cut here - if they can fit as well for those.

I know it's from Einstein, but I really don't like that quote. It's not as if WW1 had been fought with sticks and stones - you need a certain level of technology to conduct world-wide warfare.

You understand the point he's making is that our power has grown so strong when we fight again we'll knock ourselves so far back it will be to the stone ages, right?

Both added! Worth nothing that the current tech Guided Weapons has the last part of the MLK Jr quote, though the whole quote here helps to capture the essence of the v43 tech (in my mind, anyway)

I knew that quote was in some civ game somewhere. If it wins, we'd have to change the quote for Guided Missiles... maybe just leave the MLKJ quote out of this race? Add the first part of the quote to guided missiles?

Yes, I do. But you don't fight world wars in the stone age. In this case (if we survived both as a species and as a civilization) WW4 would not happen for a few millennia. I know it's an Einstein quote, but his point would have been better made saying "the next war after WW3".
