Hmm...what would people think of making Breeding pits act like The Soul Forge, but providing food instead of hammers.

I already had this response prepared:

I don't think that fits thematically.

"We just captured another regiment sire, what shall we do with them?"
"Throw them in the breeding pits, we'll breed them for the rest of their lives."

But then I thought about it, and maybe you're right. Though I thought I'd still share my initial reaction because it sounds funny. I wanted to go full dirty joke, but I thought I'd keep it PG.

I think it should continue to provide 1 though.

Nah not like the soul forge. A method that might work better and more intuitive would be sacrificing slaves for food with the breeding pit.

Though I don't see any reasons to make Calabim even more powerful than they already are. At least not yet.

extremely... The whole reason mad cow was a massive problem for both cows and other animals was that the bloody feed mills were adding COW to their food. Cannibalism is a great way of spreading disease and parasites, and some things you can't cook out.

Cannibalism is only really dangerous if you eat specific parts, like bone marrow and brain for example (brain and major neural zones aren't good to eat even if they come from another animal I think). I wonder how they did produce their mills...
So, don't worry, human meat is perfectly fine !

It had to do with cows eating sheep, sheep that had died from another desese.
This illnes was retained in the flesh even after it was ground up and efectively mutated inside the cows once they ate the produce. Thus creating a new more potent illnes.

Canibalism is in most cases no difrent than eating any other form of meat.
If it is properly termaly procesed and properly examined to ensure that the meat is clear of any diseases, than you can eat it without problems.

Nice to know you've put so much thought into the process PPQ Purple..... I think its mentioned in the vampire lords civopedia entry that they get their expertise from simply having nothing else to study, though I doubt this would apply to the younger vamps.

A desease is a generalised term that can be used for any ailment, be it caused by a living organism (virus, bacteria), toxin or any of the other avalable causes.

The point of the mater remains the same.
The only diference betwen eating ones one species and eating another is in ones own mind.
