I know its been asked before but I cant seem to find it. Does eliminating a victory condition change how the AI plays? Will the AI still build spaceports if space race is off?

Also I have never ever played with just score victory on, does this lead to a good game? I haven't played Civ since June as it was no longer a challenge so I am trying to find away to make it more interesting..

thanks.

Also if it doesn't change the AI, is there a mod for that?

Without mods, no it doesn't impact AI behaviour. I've often had only one Victory Condition active and had messages through telling me that a Civ is no pjger pursuing that Victory - so what are they doing to win then?! Disabling victories can exclude the AI from winning, because they will still pursue an exoplanet expedition, even if SV is disabled,

Yes, they will still build spaceports if Science is turned off, they will still convert cities and spread religion if Religious is turned off, etc.

I see those messages that the AI is no longer pursuing a victory type too but I wonder if it's because they realize they're too far behind or something? I just finished a game with Alex and I usually go science or domination with him. However, Kongo was teching like crazy and going for science which kind of surprised me because I thought his main focus was culture. But Gorgo was in the game too and she was pretty untouchable with culture, so I wondered if Kongo decided to try for science when he realized it would be impossible to catch up to her. He was on another continent so going to war with her wasn't an option for him either I guess.
