Again, name the game - and the attack.

oooooh i know this one, probably civ 4 since that didnt work on my computer and I cant see an image

Hint: It is the sequel to an Enix game.

Terranigma, considered to be in the same "Series" as Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia. Not because there is any great connection between the games just they have the same loose recreation of earth theme. The game with a story so incredibly bad it's actually warped around the other side and become good. There is just NO topping having christopher colombus leading you through a inter-dimesonal time to defeat the spirit of the earth's evil twin.

and the attack? Oh give me a moment on that, I know it's his spear-dive thingy he had but I don't recall the exact name it'll take a moment to look it up.

EDIT: I think it was called the "Slider"

heh, I liked Illusion of Gaia...not the "next Zelda" by any means, but a fun little adventure game for the SNES :D

Mr Moron r0x0rs everyone's b0x0rs. It is indeed the Slider. :goodjob:

Terranigma is actually "Illusion of Gaia 2: Terranigma" - you can hear that in-game from the creator of the game himself! The actual line is:
Spoiler :
"I'm going to make a game with you as the main character! The game is Illusion of Gaia 2. Pretty cool, huh?" This comes after you save him from the trash can monster in Neo Tokyo.

It's an arcade game where you build walls around a castle and place cannons before the time runs out and then you see the ships attack the castle and try to fire at them with the cannons.

A more clear description of the game-
It has two rounds in single player mode (the screenshot is from that): Offense and Defense
Offense - The ships will fire at your cannons and/or walls. You can fire back at them with your cannons.
Defense - You can place walls and cannons. You have to have open space around your castle (your territory) to place cannons - they each take up 4 tiles (look at the L-shaped Tetris block in the screenie - a block of 4 tiles that size). You HAVE to close off your castle - if there's a hole in the wall at the end of the defense round, you lose.

Sorry to hear! Hope you are better by now!
