SSecret of Mana it is. A game I will always hold dear and still play today on my SNES emulator (easier than lugging it out of the cupboard) Nothing really compares to it and I may go home and play it tonight.

I also unsuccessfully tried to sue Squaresoft for making me fat. Everytime I felt ill, I used to just devour loads and loads of candy like my idols in the game. apparntly candy doesn't heal cuts and bruses like they do in the game. There wasn't even a disclaimer

I think you were just using the wrong treatment!
Illness = being poisoned. If memory serves, herbs neutralized poison.
(Of course you could just eat candy until the damage from the poison wore off )

Nope, tried that. The candy was for my cuts and bruises. I tried the herbs once when I had the cold. but it didn't work out as I'd hoped. Afterwards, not only was I still feeling unwell, but I smelt of basil took days to get back to smelling normal

so in the end you've got a Scotsman, lying in his bed, munching on chocolate to heal his bruises and rubbing basil over himself to get rid of a cold..... if there's one thing I've discovered, it's that, if your girlfriend catches you doing that..... there's no easy way to explain it away

Actualy, I think I bought it at a dollar store. They used to have dos/win95 games there. like, 10 years ago.

Castle of the Winds it is!

It's also freeware now. I beat the first one but never played the second one. I still have the floppy and it's packaging.
