Voice Capture Problem

I have been getting this error frequently lately (attached jpeg image). It says I have an unusable voice, but I dont recall I'm using one. This error occurs either when I'm playing a large or huge map or when I'm building spaceship parts on Tiny map. I think this has to do w/ my graphic card, because prior exit to main screen, many units (expecially great people) lost their originial graphics and become a white person figure.

Do you mean this line?

It was set to 1, but now I change the value to 0. The error still occurs again when I'm building space ship parts. Now I cannot play space victory, because everytime I encounter this error, which firsts disables the Great People's graphics (turn them into white or purple figures) and then crash my computer. When I see the graphics disable, I exit the game and get the Voice Capture device error. I suspect this is either a memory problem or the graphic driver problem.

However, I have been playing civ 4 for 3 years, and this error only occur about 3 months ago when I have problems w/ my graphic cards.

Can this a mod problem? I have been using BUFFY 3.19.001 exclusively for the last couple months.

the mod should not make this happen - but its always a possibility...

is voice capture enabled in the ingame audio options...

nope...its not checked in the audio section.
