I've been going through all the real world maps included in HR, getting rid of some, adding others, fixing rivers, cropping, and many other tweaks. I've not yet finalized which Earth maps will ship with 1.18 but I have finalized the list of regional maps. They are:

• Europe (Standard)
• Europe (Huge)
• Mediterranean (Huge)
• Africa (Large)
• Middle East (Small)
• Middle East (Large)
• Eurasia (Massive)
• East Asia (Standard)
• North America (Large)

The remaining task is to add HR's new terrain and resources to these maps. I've made a start (mostly on the African map) but I'm not progressing nearly as quickly as I hoped. I don't mind doing the terrain but I'm finding resource placement frustrating. Not because it's hard, but mostly because there's so many other parts of the mod I want to be working on and this is holding me back.

So, I've attached all the above maps to this post in the hope that might be a few people out there willing to add the missing terrain and resources to one or more of them. I'd be very grateful.

All you need to do is move the appropriate xxx.CivBeyondSwordWBSave file to /History Rewritten/Private Maps/ and the corresponding xxx_StartingPoints.xml file to /History Rewritten/Assets/XML/Maps/. Load the map up via 'Play a Scenario' and enter the World Builder to add what needs to be added:

Terrain:
Savannah, Wetlands, Reefs

Resources:
Potato, Olives, Tobacco, Cocoa, Coffee, Tea, Rubber, Cotton, Flax, Bison, Seals, Salt, Amber, Jade, Peat, Gas

Not all of these will be appropriate for every map of course. You are more than welcome to make additional changes if you think it will improve accuracy or playability. Whenever you save your changes via World Builder the civilizations and units on the map will also be saved - don't worry about this, I'll sort it out afterwards.

If you are willing and able to help, please post in this thread which one(s) you wish to work on so that we don't double up. And thank you, it would help me immensely.
