Thank You

i dont really understand, am not allowed to say how i voted?

but later when we get to vote for president and such, we should be allowed to try and influence others to vote "my way"?

Did you post after I said...post your favorite suggestion below this post?? No you didn't. I didn't know if that was you choice or not?? Or if you withdrew it. I'm not a mind reader for crying out loud!!!

But I apoligize that your suggestion fell through the cracks. I'd add it...but with some votes already in....it wouldn't be too fair.

There can be decussions and before the presidential vote...but in the voting thread there can be NO petitioning done and no current results given.

It's only fair. And not that hard of a rule to follow. You can post what you voted for in these threads AFTER the polls close....if you want to. I plan to.

Next time how about making it CLEARER when you are refining polling choices - just a constructive suggestion from this humble citizen. ;)

On the matter of 'not saying how you voted' - influencing others is part of the democratic process.

Yes...in the other thread with the Nation names and Flags there was discussion and persuasion.

But I don't want it in the polling stations. You don't see people outside saying vote for me...vote for me, as you walk in. And if you do...it's very sad!! ;)

I'm having a feeling that voters if there would be no 2, then 4 would have all 2's votes.
This is a problem.

At my polling station in Glasgow, (when I'm there at elections) that's ALL I see as I walk in! People saying "How will you vote" and handing me a leaflet saying "These are my polices, I'm the best candidate!"

In Ohio (Maybe US in general) there is a law stating that you have to take off buttons and such at the polling stations. No campaigning is allowed.

I don't see it as too big of an issue. We'll probably know where a lot of people stand from the campaigns and discussions anyway. Its just as easy to say no talking about it voting day and have done with it. So I'm for quite polls.
