War Mobilization Question

Stupid me clicked on war time mobilization...

I'm not at war with anyone and I can't seem to turn the option off! How can I get out of war time mobilization?

In the Domestic screen there should be alittle box underneath the tax/lux/science sliders. Click on that and change war mobilization off.

That doesn't work.... It just selects it, but doesn't offer me an option to turn it off.

I just read somewhere that you have to either get a peace treaty or destroy an AI civ to turn war mobilization off??!? I'm not at war with anyone tho... hmmm

I haven't used it in awhile, but if I'm thinking right if you click it again it should change it off.

Nope, you will have to start a war with someone. Making peace or destroying the civ is the only way to turn it off.

If it was purely an accident and you don't feel like going to war then just reload the game from your last save.

Does "war mobilization" in C3C with the new patch automatically turn ALL your cities into just building military type things? It used to be you could finish your cathedral or temple before you had to switch to something military.

I agree with low. The only way to turn off tho mobilization is to actually sign a peace treaty. You need to do what you must to get another civ to agree to peace (even if it means a sneak attack). If you can't reload a save w/o the mobilization, you can attack someone's worker (that's pretty low on the transgressions list), wait a couple turns, then offer a peace treaty.
Then to butter them up a little, send the worker to your capitol, and offer it back to the civ as a present.

yeah, if you don't have a recent save you can look in the auto-save file (at the top of the load game screen)
