i am about to go to war with the iroquois for the land alone and i wish to know what the best method to do this is. so far i am the only one with gunpowder and i have about 50 war units...... help me out.

You should attach your save file, so people can give better comments...

Gunpowder just gives you another (rather expensive) defensive unit...

Are you the Iroquios, oe are they your opponent?

How many bombardment units? How many offensive units, and what type? Are they far away or close? Without a save, more details are needed to give more than general advice. Until then: A. Concentrate your forces. If you think you need 5 Knights, take 10. If you have 20 Trebuchets, keep them together and red-line all defenders in the cities you want. B. Have a second wave in the pipe, to replace the inevitable casualties. C. Defend what you've taken. Have your best defenders ready to hold captured cities, so your offensive units can either go back to a barracks to heal or continue the attack. Finally, D. Don't get greedy, grab what you want and what you can keep, you can always go back to war later for the rest. Good luck! To the rest of the forum, I'm sure I missed some stuff, feel free to fill in the gaps.

You should probably at least post a screenshot, and tell us what your currecnt plan is. A save would be better.
