Warlords 2.08: Great Person list begins halfway through

So, yeah, it's kind of annoying when the first Great Prophet is St. Augustine, the first Great Artist is Shakespeare, the first Great Scientist is Newton, the first Great General is Arminius (quickly followed by Pizarro, of all people), and so on and so forth...

In other words, it's not game-breaking, but it is bothersome.

well AFAIK the GGs are random and you never know which one you are going to get, that may be wrong though . . . .
