Me and my 4 friends started a Warlords pitboss game. Previously we ran a Civ4 pitboss game so we know how to setup pitboss. The pitboss.exe that shipped with the game was buggy (players got an error message about not having the right assets) so we found a fixed pitboss.exe on this site, that's the one we are running with.
1) Player is going to connect to the pitboss server to take his turn. (We play 1 move/24 hours)
2) Player successfully connects to Pitboss via Multiplayer/DirectIP gets to Civ select screen.
3) Player selects his Civ, enters password and clicks 'OK'
4) Load and initialization progress bars appear, everything looks good and then right at the end of the last progress bar CRASH. You are presented with the Microsoft dialog box saying something like "Your application, Warlords, has crashed do you want to sent this information to Microsoft"
We just started playing our Warlords Pitboss game (we are on turn 4) and this has happened to 2 of our 4 players (obviously playing from different computers, different locations). The crash has happened at least 3 times to the two dif. players. Rebooting does not solve the problem. Each player rebooted and same result.
However this Crash does not happen 100% of the time. The players have logged in at other times and everything connected fine.
Will try and get a screenshot the next time it happens.
