The server goes up Friday but you can of course do your turn anytime within the 24 hour timer period. I wanted to get the server up early so that people had a chance to check out their starting area and be ready to go for Saturday's session.

Btw the game should have been up half an hour ago no? If not there might be some problems with powersaving/summertime for various people for the advanced start...


It might be a problem with summertime no matter if the games go by it or not... Should be specified somewhere, since it isn't up i assume you won't be using the gmt they are actully using in the gmt zone?

I'm running a bit late this morning but only 10 minutes so far. The server should be up in about 20 min or so. That would be 9:30 am my time (MDT) which would be 11:30 am EDT and 3:30 pm GMT. At least that's my understanding of the time zones right now. The US doesn't switch from DST until sometime in early November.

I think I have the right GMT value as specified at www.greenwichmeantime.com. Note the UK is on GMT + 1 right now I believe.

Are there any instructions for this? Really simple ones that I will understand

I seem to have been able to enter via the multiplayer - Direct IP in Warlords. I chose my power (Elizabeth) and played my turn. Pressed the red button and exited the game.

This appears in CivStats.

But Hoplosternum is still 'unknown' in CivStats.

I then set up a Civstats account successfully. But I can't register my leader because it says that password is set by the host not me.

I tried to enter via Hamachi initially. But the Test IP address says it does not exist anymore....

Can someone please put up an idiots guide on how you should enter the game and play a turn. Cheers!

It is the same adress as on the test game... works fine for me... Just follow the same instructions chose your leader(make sure to have hamachi on if your using that address) and play away. Not sure why civstats is showing wrong for you. The pw for civstats is posted somewhere in the other thread.

and according to civstats it is not you but CingularDuality that is holding up the game

Hopefully the CivStats issue will correct itself when CingularDuality does his turn. I think the problem you are seeing is just a side effect due to the fact I didn't create a "new" game there.

BTW, if you guys could just post at the TG site for game issues I'd appreciate it. Saves me from potentially having to address it in 2 places.

Are you using Hamachi and the 5.134.244.58 address?

If that doesn't work then try the tgciv4.no-ip.org address and we'll see how that works for you.
