I hate you for making me choose between v3.0 of Snoopy's mod and yours. (eagerly awaiting release!)

That is a tough one, Sn00py's new mod is damn good.

(Sigh...) I found Snoopy's version 3.0 to be pretty, but unclear for game play.
It needs to be functional for me to use it, and (especially) the irrigation graphics were way too confusing. I use his previous version.

If Warpstorm's makes tile identification a breeze, and is beautiful to boot, he will get the prize.

That looks really good. (It reminds me somehow of an ancient map) I like the simple 2d style, it´s easier on the eyes.

warpstorm, this looks really nice, but I can't find a download link anywhere. I would like to try it.

I tried Snoopys v3 but scrapped it again in favor of v2. I esp. dislike his update of the water squares. The ones from v2 look much better.

The only suggestion I have is to remove the white beach strip where the grassland reach the cost. I think it would look better with green all the way to the coast.

That's probaby it. Those :flamedevi Firaxians probably taped his mouth shut.

But seriously, I really don't see why warpstorm shouldn't be able to release it here before PtW comes out. After all, we're not going to base our decision whether to buy PtW on the inclusion of this (or any other) mod. And this graphics mod should not contain any PtW specific content. Even if it does somehow, it should be in warpstorms interest (certainly in ours) to also publish a version that's compatible with vanilla Civ3.

Warpstorm, you'd better speak up before the rumours get out of hand
